DenMar Organic Egg Farm - Four House Farm - Chesterfield County, SC

DenMar Farm is an Organic Egg Farm located in Chesterfield County, SC near the town of Jefferson and Bethune. This farm has four houses that were built in 2003 and 2004 and are 42x500. The farm is currently contracted with Cal Maine Foods. Cal Maine has a company owned farm and egg facility near DenMar Farm in Bethune, SC. The farm has 60+/- acres which includes several great sites for a home, open land, and part of a pond is on the property. The farm had a gross income in 2022 of $323,000. The farm can have a placement of up to 15,000 hens per house. The birds can access outside the houses into a cage area. Birds are allowed outside when bio security restrictions allow.

The Poultry Farm features the following equipment:

• Two houses have Rotem Controllers, two have Hired Hand Controllers

• Two houses have Big Dutchman pan feeders

• Two houses have Big Dutchman chain feeders

• Lubing Drinkers

• Two houses have Hired Hand Single Belt Nests with Grower Select Egg Tables

• Two houses have Growers Select Double Belt Nests

• 3 Wells with 3,000 storage tank

• 3 generators

• Litter Shed

• Pit for mortality

The farm is located near a large wildlife refuge. There are multiple home sites on the farm where someone can set up a home on the farm. A PoultrySouth Team Member can assist any buyer in locating a mobile home for the farm along with the set up process.

Poultry farms are biosecure facilities.   Absolutely no visits to the farm without an appointment.  All potential purchasers must be prequalified with the PoultrySouth Team prior to scheduling a farm visit.
